1080 High Carbon Steel by the Foot
1080 carbon steel is easy to forge,file and drill. It is also very forgiving when hardening and tempering. It makes an extremely durable high quality knife when hardened and tempered.
Your choice of 1″ x 3/16″ or 1-1/4″ x 1/4″
1080 will have a Rockwell Hardness of 57 when hardened properly and tempered at 400 deg for 2 hours.
