Ultimate Knife Making Tongs

These tongs are forged from 4140 making them strong and light weight. Perfect for holding 1/4″ by 1-1/4″ and 3/16″ by 1″ flat stock on edge when forging a knife blade. These are the same tongs we use in our shop every day and we love them! 16″ overall length to give a tight grip. Similar in style to “Bolt Jaw” style Tongs but have a wider opening for flat stock and the jaws are shaped in a wrap around “U” shape to give better holding power.

Don’t forget to order our 1080 Knife Making Steel!

All of our 4140 tongs should NOT be quenched to cool them off. Let them slowly air cool.
