San Mai Damascus Belt Knife
Like all of our Knives, here is a one of a kind Hand Forged San Mai Belt knife. Completely hand crafted from from 1080 Carbon steel, Pure Nickel and Wrought Iron. The term “San Mai” refers to a blade with the hard carbon steel in the center making the edge of the blade and softer metal forge welded onto each side. This creates a strong limber blade with excellent edge retention.
This San Mai Damascus Belt Knife has a contoured American Black Walnut Handle with a full exposed tang. Measures 11.5 inches overall with a 6-3/4 inch blade length.
